Accommodation

We have four completely self-contained two bedroom cottages available for rental. Each cottage has been designed to accommodate up to four people in comfort and privacy, and to maximise views of the magnificent and ever changing colours of Wilson's Promontory, and the beautiful Waratah Bay.

"Gull" and "Cuttlebone Cottages" have two queen-sized beds; "Shearwater" and "Nautilus" Cottages each have one queen-sized bed and two single beds. All have linen provided also electric blankets. Each bedroom opens out through sliding glass doors onto decking directly overlooking the sea.

The central living area consists of a fully fitted kitchen, a tasteful and comfortably furnished living room overlooking the Prom. There is a bathroom/laundry (including washing machine) and separate toilet. Other features include a Coonara style gas log heater, television, DVD, VCR, CD/radio, electric barbecue and carport parking.

A large undercover deck opens out from the living room - absolutely perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunrises and for viewing the setting of the sun over Wilson’s Promontory, or in Summer, indulge in alfresco style dining. During the winter months it is just as beautiful as you sit by the fire watching the wind whipping up the waves or watching the lightning as it explodes over the Prom.

What you need to bring:

As we are a remote location, the nearest shops, petrol stations, and restaurants are all about 30 minutes drive from here (Tarwin Lower, Sandy Point, Fish Creek).
You will need to bring your own food, drinks, books, DVDs, CDs. videos, beach towels, and tough walking shoes for exploring.
On arrival at Bear Gully, you will be welcomed, shown to your cottage and a brief introduction to your "getaway", and then left to enjoy your stay.
